Open La3, on the password screen you will see the Version Number of the software. If the version number on your screen is less than the version number that you see here you can safely download the update.

If the version number is the same, then log into La3, Click on the Help Menu and select About, If that date on your screen is older than the date you see here then you can safely download the update.
